Privacy and cookie policy

This policy explains which personal data are processed when you visit emilianovismara.com, why, and what your rights are, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian privacy law.

What data I process and why
Browsing data
The server hosting this site automatically logs some technical data, such as IP address, date and time of the request, page visited and browser type. They are used only to keep the site running and secure. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The hosting provider, Aruba S.p.A., processes these data as a processor and keeps them for the period required by its technical and legal obligations.
Visit statistics (Google Analytics 4)
Only if you accept in the banner, the site uses Google Analytics 4 to measure visits in aggregate: pages viewed, duration, device, traffic source and approximate location. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store IP addresses. Advertising features and Google Signals are disabled. Data are kept for 14 months.
Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time. The service is provided by Google Ireland Limited. Data may be transferred to Google LLC in the United States, which participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework recognised as adequate by the European Commission.
Emails you send me
If you write to me, I process the data in your message only to reply and handle any conversation that follows. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps or legitimate interest in replying (Art. 6(1)(b) and 6(1)(f) GDPR). I keep them for as long as needed for that purpose.
Cookies and similar technologies
This site uses no profiling or advertising cookies. Fonts are hosted on this domain, so nothing is loaded from third-party font servers.

Your rights
At any time you can request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and you can object to processing or withdraw consent by emailing me (Articles 15-22 GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (garanteprivacy.it (opens in a new window)) or the authority in your country.
